This might be useful for:

• announcing special events (e.g. open day, sports event etc.)
• sharing useful information
• looking for assistance, support, guidance
• working on a multi-school project (e.g. a quiz, treasure hunt etc)
• sending useful links

However care should be taken!

• avoid sending personal messages through the listserv as your private affairs will suddenly become public knowledge - this can easily happen if you reply to a message received from the listserv!
